just watch the surface and there should be a current circulating around the tank and you should be able to see tiny little bubbles bursting on top ... when it's turned on you should also be able to stick your thumb over the air hose and make it make a sound like air suckin or feel just how much air is being sucked into the water by the hose with your thumb. one of these days when you're heading to keystone just drop by here and I'll take a look at it fer ya ... I'm right straight east of ya on 33 and then ya can go on to keystone by going a little further east to 48 hwy and taking a left

I know on mine the sound of the pump tells me if I'm on the right track or not because it didn't look to me like it was working too well for me, but I tried the finger over the hose deal and felt the suction and heard the difference.

they pump a lot of air into the water for sure ... lots more than any bubble aerator and with that much air in there that water can be near the boiling point and still keep shad alive

It's sure suckin, just had in mind it would look like the first aerator with a cloud of air comin outta tha discharge.
I was gonna come up this weekend, but with the extra rain, I figure they will bump up the discharge a little more and screw up the fishin. Ner thaught I'd say it, but it is try to stop rainin for a while. I'm ready to FISH!!!

you'll see the coulded up water if you add the salt to it. the salt makes the water atomize the air a lot better when it goes through the pump. it's not necessary for the bluegill though so don't just add the salt so you can see the cloudy water as there will be a lot of air going into the water either way. That's one of the reasons I put the salt in the water is so that it could be seen a lot easier for the pictures when I was setting up the web page. I put like 2 cups of salt in that 12 gallons of water I think it was. I guess I might should put that info on the web page
