these were caught about the same temps that the crappies were caught.

rats! i missed the dinner! Extremely Funny

looks great! fishing has been about catching dinner for me for a long time. rather than catch and release (which has its own rewards), i usually just quit fishing when i've got enough. i hope as i get older, i'll have more time to fish. then maybe i'll start doing catch and release.

i generally catch our limits for 2 people then go home, but then don't go back till we want another meal. we have some awesome panfish lakes around here. Very Happy Very Happy

i new what you meant my friend, i use to do that all the time when all my relatives were to old to go fishing, i always made sure they had fresh fish to eat. now i just catch my supper and go home. Very Happy Very Happy

my cousin and I, when he was 11 and I was about 6 would go to the old Victor pond and tote about 50 to 100 of those bluegill home for supper on a regular occasion ... I can still feel those stringers cuttin into my hand on the long journey home .. it was only about a mile but it sure seemed a lot further when you're carrying about 50 to 100 bluegill. those were the days!

i agree tiny, nothing like the good old days. i can remember coming home with 5 gallon buckets of bullheads by the 100's, and cleaning them for hours.
