This is how I use the holder to hang onto the baited hook or jig while I'm fixin to cast ... that way the line doesn't hang below the livingston float and gives me a
lot better control and casting distance.
In this photo you see the holder after it's bent over and ready to use on the main line shock leader and the jig tied to the leader attached to the livingston float.
This is how it looks when the jig or baited hook is hangin in the holder and ready for the cast ... the drop is usually 4 ft or more long but in this photo it's only just
over a foot long for photographic purposes ... the holder will normally be about 4 ft or more up the line. When the livingston float hits the water it will pop the jig off the
